Marty came to the MMRF in 2012 with the idea to ride his bike from Florida to Maine in memory of his best friend Roy who had just passed away from multiple myeloma. Marty accomplished his epic ride up the East Coast, and then began to dream bigger. Next up: his goal was to get the MMRF to form a team to ride across the country. And so it happened, in 2017. He is largely responsible forR2V’s coming to fruition and was one of the Magnificent Seven that completed the 3400-mileride last fall. If that wasn’t enough Marty rode from London to Paris in 2018 and is back for more in 2019.
