Jim was diagnosedwith multiple myeloma in early 2014. His diagnosis came after he noticed a slowed pace while cycling and not feeling like that was quite normal. Being an avid cyclist his whole life, Jim jumped into treatment and focused on getting better and getting back into riding shape. Jim rode the first two weeks of the cross-countryride in 2017, and is happy to be back on the Road to Victories team as he continues to push forwards in life, and in cycling.
