How did you get involved with the MMRF?
I have worked for J&J for 20+ years and in MM for the last 5. I have partnered with MMRF on several advocacy programs through my job as a marketer for darzalex and now Talvey.
What do you want people to know about multiple myeloma?
That it is complex, heterogeneous and every patient’s treatment journey and experience will vary so it’s pivotal to reach out for help.
Why is participating in the MMRF Road to Victories ride important to you?
Allows me to experience a challenge with individuals living with MM and get to know them and how I can better help them within my role by simply learning about their personal journeys via being part of their community
What are you looking most forward to/excited about the ride?
Being challenged to keep up with experienced riders and getting to know wonderful positive individuals who live with MM.
What does your training regimen for this event look like?
Not great but working my way there. Been riding 3 days a week various distances
Who/what inspires you?
People who are positive through challenging times.
Have you participated in previous MMRF events? If so, which/when?
No
Anything additional to add?
Thank you
